Integrations
An integration is a connection to something outside Seraa. You connect it once, for your organisation, and what it offers becomes available to notes and to the assistant.
The integrations below are available when configured for your workspace.
Calendar
Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar.
Once connected, you pick which calendars to include. Seraa can then:
- show upcoming events
- create an event
- attach an event to a note, so a matter carries its dates
- detach one again
Attaching is the useful part: a date stops being text in a paragraph and becomes a thing the note refers to.
Drives
Google Drive.
Choose folders to sync and their files mirror into your workspace as documents. Imported files are processed in the background. Seraa checks connected folders periodically for changes, so new files may take time to appear and become ready for AI work.
Slack and Teams
Connect Slack or Teams through its integration setup. Installation and access depend on your workspace and the provider's permissions.
Once connected, a message to Seraa in a channel or chat reaches the assistant, and it answers there. That is what the connection does.
Slack and Teams are an inbound route, not an outbound one. Seraa replies where it was asked; it does not post to a channel on its own, and a note cannot tell it to. Writing "post this to #matters" in a statement will not make it happen.
What a connection is
Connections are associated with your Seraa organisation and use the access granted by the connected provider account. If that account loses access or its authorisation expires, you may need to reconnect. Disconnecting stops access through that connection; it does not delete documents already imported.
